Tomorrow is THE day! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is finally open to the public at 12:30 pm EST (11:30 am in San Antonio)! You will be able to shop the big sale without having a Nordstrom card.
I wanted to share a quick haul of some of the items I snagged last week during early access! This year, I’m not gonna lie, I was a little disappointed with Nordstrom. I placed my order no later than 11:31 am and had two items canceled. I was so proud of myself for being under budget this year, but now its even better. Just kidding, I heard that there should be a huge restock for the Public Access. I will definitely be on the look out for what I wanted.
In this post I will be sharing the items that I got, the reasons I got them, and also all the sizing information. I will be listing my canceled items too. I thought it would be fun to share my wish list as well ( yes I still have one lol). I never know if my hubby is going to read my post, it could give him some ideas lol. Did I not tell you this sale is great for picking up Christmas presents? I will be sharing the items that I own and recommend for you to pick up as well. Also, I apologize, my items are still on the way so I am only able to show you a screenshot or the pics I took at the store.
One important piece of advice I have for you, I promise you, if you see something you like, it will be gone within a matter of hours! It is crazy how quickly things sell out! So don’t hesitate and add it to your cart and check out right away!!! Do not wait!! I repeat do not wait!!!
Restocks will continue to occur as the sale goes on. If you do not see your size now, I recommend to check back often. I will also update you all on my instagram stories when I see popular items get restocked or on the liketoknow it app.
Here is what I got:
There is a constant fight in our family over blankets! Even Chanel will fight you. So I decided to order one just for me. I had a hard time narrowing down which one to get but I picked up the stone/ cream one! I think it will look cute on my office chair too. Barefoot dreams blankets are the softest and coziest ever. They are totally worth it, especially if you can grab them on sale. They usually only go on sale during the Nordstrom’s anniversary sale, which is why they always sell out so fast. These blankets also make perfect housewarming or Christmas gifts.
Every year I always end up grabbing a pair (or 5) of Vince Camuto booties. This year I tried my hardest and narrowed it down to 2. My second pair got canceled which I was pretty bumped about. I always love Vince Camuto because their shoes are always so comfortable. It’s a brand I love and trust so that’s why they are always my first priority. I picked this pair because I love the color, it’s going to go with everything. Love love love the pointy toes and actually have nothing in my shoes closet with pointy toes. They fit True to size, I got a 9 1/2.
The second brand that I trust and love is Steve Madden. I always have and always will. If you follow me on instagram you know I have been wearing this flat all fall/winter/spring so when I saw these new colors and prints, I had to grab some. I decided to pick up the snake print one and the studded black one. I know how much I love my feather leopard loafers and how comfortable they are on me. I see myself wearing these 3 pairs all year round.
The quality is amazing and the price tag is totally affordable. I was attracted to the color of the snake print, I love that it’s not white. I feel like it’s more discreet too. As for the black ones, they did not stand out at first glance, but after I tried them on they look so chic and sophisticated. As much as I like leopard and snake prints, sometimes a simple black shoe is required and I thought they would be perfect. It’s also a good pair if the all snake print shoes style is not for you. They fit true to size, I got a 9 1/2.
I shared these on my story! I saw them while on the Nsale spreadsheet while I was getting ready for the blogpost about my picks (you can read it here, if you haven’t). I love how edgy they are. I was so excited that my store had them. I was able to get a closer look and also try them on. They are definitely comfortable, very similar to the vans that I have.
I love that from the front view you dont see the snake print side. I tried them on at the store while I was wearing my Spanx leggings and the two together looked amazing. It’s a good shoe if you aren’t sure about the snake print but you still want to try it out. It’s also a good pair if the whole snake print shoe look is not for you. It’s more subtle. They fit true to size and I got 9 1/2.
Fun fact, I strongly dislike wearing slippers. I’m always barefoot or with socks. I remembered last year I almost grabbed a pair of these UGG Slipper. I was so over budget that at one point I had to stop the craziness. This winter I was annoyed at myself and I regretted not making room in my budget for a pair. It’s something I actually needed. It doesn’t get cold for too long here but when it does, we are not used to it. I made sure this year to grab a pair. I got the Fawm/Brown one. I thought it would go with everything. I got a size 9 which is my true size in UGG.
Every year, I tried to pick up one of these BP Lace camisoles. When I saw that this year they were coming up with a leopard one, I had to have it! It’s going to be perfect under a black or beige cardigan. I got a size Small.
This is another brand I was excited to see for this sale. I have read so many great reviews about Charlotte Tilbury but I don’t own anything from her. I thought this set was absolutely perfect to give a try. You can’t go wrong with a nude lipstick! Love that this set comes with a complete lip set, lipstick, liner and gloss. I also love that the products are full size. I can’t wait to try it on!
You have heard me talking about this set! This is my Ride and die shampoo and conditioner. I just discovered it 2 years ago during the Sephora ViB sale. The reviews were amazing but the price was totally out of my comfort zone for a shampoo and conditioner. I have used drugstore versions my entire life but wanted to try something different. I always thought that it was ridiculous to spend a lot of money on shampoo & conditioner. I literally thought it was pouring money down the drain until I tried this brand.
I managed to grab a Deluxe sampler at Sephora. I tried it and after the first wash (not kidding) I noticed a difference. My hair was softer, bouncier, and shinier, I was sold! I don’t color my hair and rarely get a haircut (probably every 6 months, if ever) so I thought I would make room in my budget for these amazing products. Because it is pricy, I always grab this set when it goes on sale. I get the jumbo size and it lasts a long time. A little goes a long way with this shampoo and conditioner. Funny enough, when I run out of and try to make it last until I receive my next shipment, I use my drugstore shampoo and oh boy I can tell a difference for sure.
